Firefowl Boss
The Firefowl boss encounter has been significantly refined — improved animation blending, additional animations and attacks, and better fight pacing for all builds.
Wet zones no longer react with projectiles, closing off the cheese strategy of using them as a free bubble shield during the fight.
Fowlslayer Armor Set
Added the Fowlslayer armor set, now obtainable from the Firefowl drop table.
Balanced around flame power, spirit power, and life power with low defensive stats.
Includes the new Flame Eater perk: restores charge when overlapping fire areas and projectiles.
New Zanor Enemies
Zanor Mage: Rapidly casts fireballs with their hands. They will seek out fires to ignite themselves for more damage. Avoid leaving them at low health, lest they explode.
Zizifek’s Burden: An imposing corrupted knight wielding a devastating poleaxe.
Per-Boss First Time Kill Progression
Killing a boss for the first time now drops a Sacred Sap.
Sacred Sap can be decomposed to permanently increase your Omni Limit by 1.
Backpack Redesign
Backpacks no longer occupy a separate section of the inventory — they now add rows directly to your main inventory.
Backpacks no longer have intrinsic storage; all slots exist within the main inventory grid.
When a backpack is removed the rows it provided become locked. Items can still be taken out of locked slots, but nothing new can enter them.
Items in locked slots will attempt to move to empty slots when the inventory is closed; if none are available, they are dropped on the ground.
Maximum inventory size increased to 42 slots (5 additional rows).
Backpacks now have a slot tier parameter. Slots correspond roughly to rarity: Brown → 6, White → 12, Green → 18.
Added the Traveller's Backpack: a green tier pack with 18 slots.
Old backpack and bank data should migrate correctly.

Sundered Debuff
The Sundered debuff (applied by Taunt and the Sunderer Necklace) is now consumed when the target takes damage.

Cooldown added to dodging behavior to prevent back to back dodging.

Weapons & Items
Scrap Glaive buffed to more closely match the DPS of other weapons at its tier, accounting for its slower attack speed.

Added a +1 All Attributes token to the drop tables of the Inheritor, Enshugoo, Golem, and Firefowl.
Major boss XP drops rebalanced to align with the updated XP curve.
Minor MDrive bosses now have a T2 consumable drop table.

Firefowl soft spore drop significantly increased.
Plate Arms added to the Zanor Acolyte drop table.
Decomposition

Updated deflect and block effects.
Hit effects no longer play if the target dodged the damage.
XP particles now originate from the killed enemy or pickup actor and glide toward the player.

Added a camera shake intensity setting in the options menu.
Audio
A global sound now plays when new players join a session.
Additional menu sounds for new characters creation and deletion.
Audio updates to the Zizifek boss fight.
UI & Quality of Life
Options menu reorganized: several settings moved to the Controls tab to reduce clutter. Controller vibration intensity setting added.
Fixed a bug where trigger switches (panels, temple buttons, etc.) would not update their description if they were toggled while a player was focusing them — particularly noticeable in multiplayer.
Fixed a bug where right-click depositing an item could delete it from the bank.
Fixed a controller text input regression.
Player on player damage changed to an option in the settings menu that now defaults to “off”. Band of the Friend will be altered in a future patch due to this.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where blocking damage immediately after being downed could pull the player out of the downed state.
Fixed an issue where boss HP bar arrays were not being cleared after a fight ended.
Fixed Mark of the Harvester not triggering correctly — it now checks whether it should fire before the post-death delay, preventing it from missing due to buffs and debuffs being cleared on death.
Stackable equipment passives now work correctly. Residual Spirits can now stack — carrying both a Water Staff and Rotting Cane grants 2 charge per loop.
Fixed several incorrect item icons.
Fixed a visual bug on the Firefowl Slayer gear.
