Unfortunately, I severely underestimated the game's complexities, and so threw many people into the fray without enough care put into their first time experience.
The good news for me at least is the game is in fact quite fun once you understand everything and can keep track of 2 double/triple function guns, their ammo, your core heat, while darting around at mach 1... But I need to do a much better job at easing people into that gameplay.
So the plan is to integrate a much more gradual, more natural tutorial into the core game itself instead of a crappy info dump. As well as polishing up some of the core mechanics and a better sense of game progression. It will take some time to get it all working well enough to truly make the game enjoyable by many more people.
So my apologies to anyone that had a bad experience, and also to those who were actively enjoying the game. The demo will return whenever I can safely say its good enough.
