Small Update: Demo 0.3.57

27 Mar 2025Developer post

There is now a new first person camera controller. The difference is the first person camera controller rotates around the camera center rather than trying to rotate around the thing you are looking at. It also maintains a strictly fixed altitude unless you run the camera into the terrain. The old camera controller is still available in the general settings as "third person."
Drones now validate their destination tile and retarget if they are within 10 tiles of their destination. This only applies to go to commands that are going to an area. A tile will trigger a retarget if it is occupied by another drone, if it no longer matches the terrain filter, or if it is no longer the highest/lowest tile in the area (if one of those options is chosen).
Drones are better at finding their way around blockades. If they get stuck they'll start using a bit of semi-random search to find their way out.
Don't delete beacons unless you actually click on the beacon.
Adjust the reference height for the construction effect on the conveyor bridge.
Fix drones going to a point stored in memory.
Fix the "discovered crashed lander" message.
Show all tree types in the item picker.
Biomass is now a material rather than an ore.
Fix a performance issue in saves with lots of actions.
Performance fix when there are lots of drones targeting empty beacons.
