The game is priced at 14.99 USD. For the first two weeks after launch, it’s available at 10% off, bringing the discounted price to 13.49 USD.

Roots Devour is a strategy exploration game built around the core mechanic of card connections.
You awaken as a newly born ancient god, deep within a silent and unsettling forest.
Extend your roots, devour blood and resources; unlock new cards, events, and mechanics as you explore the map.
Strategy here doesn’t come from complex number crunching, but from how you choose to grow—and what price you’re willing to pay for it.
This is not a game that rushes to give answers.
If you’re willing to spend time understanding this world, it will slowly unfold itself to you.
And now—
the forest is ready.
OST also released, now with a introductory discount, only 5.39 USD. Purchase the OST bundle enjoy more discount!
If you have any thoughts or suggestions while playing, we’d love to hear from you.
You’re also welcome to follow our official social media accounts and join our player community.
Any future updates, balance adjustments, and news will be shared with you as soon as they’re ready.

*Special Notice Regarding Save Files*
With the release, the game has officially entered version 1.0. In this version, we have optimized many details and adjusted the save file location.
For new players, simply start the game with a fresh save.
For players who previously participated in playtesting, we strongly recommend starting with a new save for the best experience.
If you need to carry over your old save data, please follow the steps below (this method only applies to saves from the Playtest period; Demo saves cannot be transferred):
Open the old save location: C:\\Users[Username]\\AppData\\LocalLow\\RE\\RootsDevour\\Archieves. Copy the save files Archieve0 / Archieve1 / Archieve2, which correspond to save slots 1 / 2 / 3 in the game.
Paste the old save files into the new save location: C:\\Users[Username]\\AppData\\LocalLow\\RewindingGames\\RootsDevour\\Archives
Launch the game and check the save slots. If the old save data is displayed, the replacement was successful.
Note: Please do not replace save files while the game is running, as this may cause save data corruption.
