Greetings!
This patch comes with full rework on the Mutation System, which should bring some variety to playthroughs. Also small QoL improvements.
Main things:
Mutation System full rework = Mutations are now completely different and the effects are more active rather than just simple stat bonuses. Some even provide additional abilities you manually have to use.
Toxic Waste Barrells = Are also now semi-randomized, so the order will vary. AND they no longer unlock mutagens, but instead Perks to be attached to mutagens.
Amethyst are no longer currency, but items = They are used to equip mutagens. Amethyst nodes will now refresh due time but it takes longer than other nodes.
Enemy Debuffs Displayed = Enemies' debuff durations are now displayed in target frame (+ under Boss Health Bar). This way you can keep track of active status effects.
Bug fixes / Other:
Enemy / Boss tweaks. Rat Packs + Goo Cubes emit poison when nearby. Troll Boss' attack fiddles. Ent tree loot drops. Bandits' attack damage etc.
Smaller level polish (annoying edges, floating elements, additional deco).
What's next?
Making multiplayer more accessible for everyone by making it possible to host public games.
Unfortunately the controller / steam deck support are delayed until we get the first tasks ready. Sorry for that. We know some players have been waiting for this :<
We'll keep you updated.
Have a great weekend, gobbos! ^o.o^
