Greetings!
This patch comes with various improvements that should bring some variety to playthroughs and also improve the first steps of being a goblin. We also added more goblin flavor to the game with more talkative NPCs.
Main things:
Randomized Gear Element = Now when crafting any basic gear that piece's element is drawn randomly. Upgrading a Reinforced piece will take the source's element
Apex Predators = Regions now have roaming apex predators that are significantly harder than common mobs around there, so keep your eyes peeled when pickin' berries
Aqueduct Sewers / Pools Polish = These two areas got some much needed love as they were lacking of proper decoration. Also added more enemies, patrol routes and loot there. Some recipes also got moved around.
Improved Onboarding = Basic movement / actions are now taught more clearly
Zamus Talking Head = Zamus - the Goblin Leader will have his own talking head UI when important events happen.
More goblin NPCs = Added a bunch of NPC goblins all around the world. They usually have some guide / advisory dialogue as well as comical words to say.
Improved Chat Messages = Generally added more event messages in the chat. Important events and player actions are logged. Also NPCs can yell stuff if you're close by.
Bug fixes / Other:
Chests now have a slider to open them up
Minor Contributions got removed (those buildable bridges)
Baba Yaga boss fight area edge fix
Optimized Aqueduct Navmesh
Slight tweak to the world map to better direct towards the Dark Swamp
General balancing for boss' damage outputs
Minor enemy loot changes
Have a fun weekend, peeps. Summer is still strong!
Goblin out. ^-_O^
