We’re finally here! Afallon will launch in Early Access on November 27 at a price of $11.99 USD, with a 25% launch discount for the first two weeks, bringing it down to $8.99 for early supporters.
Early Access is the beginning of Afallon’s growth into the full open-world RPG experience I’ve been building toward. Here’s what you can expect at launch:
A Vastly Expanded World
The demo contained only Coalway Swamp, but the Early Access launch expands the world significantly:
Coalway Woods
Chillwind Heights
This increases the playable map size by 8×, now totaling around 8 square kilometers of explorable space. These areas include new enemies, new settlements, new quests, new events, and new world bosses.
Classes & Gear Progression
Each class now has access to five complete leveling armor sets, which you can acquire as you progress through the world:
Novice
Apprentice
Adept
Journeyman
Expert
Even more sets will be added in future updates so every class can keep expanding its build identity as the world grows.
Dungeons at Launch
Early Access will launch with three full dungeons:
Duskfall Depths (returning from the demo, now expanded and polished)
Felheart Crucible
Tidefallen Grotto
Each dungeon has its own environment, enemies, and boss encounters designed to give a classic dungeon-crawl challenge.
There are already five additional dungeons planned for the regions included in Early Access, coming in upcoming patches.
Content at Launch
Afallon’s world at EA release will feature:
Thousands of items
Over 100 handcrafted quests
Rare world spawns and elite encounters
Challenge Stones scattered across the world
Exploration rewards, secrets, and dynamic chests
This Early Access version is meant to feel like the beginning of a true single-player MMO-style adventure, with a world that will grow throughout development.
Looking Ahead
After launch, the focus will be on:
Polishing Coalway Woods, Chillwind Heights, and Coalway Swamp
Adding the five planned dungeons
Expanding class gear sets
Adding missing features, new quests, new bosses, and new items
Eventually introducing entirely new zones once the current regions are polished enough
The goal is to continually expand Afallon’s world while keeping the core gameplay stable and enjoyable.
I hope you’re as excited for Early Access as I am. Thank you for all the support so far, and feel free to ask any questions!
