Hello, Star Seekers!
We’re thrilled to announce that Across the Wonderlands will be part of the Steam Next Fest with a special Appetizer Demo! After our initial round of closed community playtests earlier this year, we’ve taken your valuable feedback to heart and made some exciting updates to the game.
🔧Here are the most significant changes we’ve made since the playtests:
- You can now eat every material and ingredient you find and throw/shoot any equipped item!
- You can smash every deposit on the level for materials!
- Redesigned crafting system for a smoother, more intuitive experience while keeping it open and elaborate.
- Integrated progression system with gathering and building mechanics, resulting in the birth of Skillbuildings.
- Added the first Briefcase abilities, including the Puff Propeller (try to throw it under a small slug) and Briefcase Vortex (try to throw it at a small slug!).
- Introduced creature nurturing and plant growing features to expand your gameplay options.
- Improved level design for a more immersive and challenging experience.
- Made key combat and balancing improvements to refine the action.
- Completely reworked the tutorial flow to match these new changes.
- Save system support was added to increase flexibility in play sessions.
- Enhanced build stability to ensure a smoother gameplay experience.
With these updates, we feel confident and ready for the next round of feedback. That’s why we’re excited to participate in the Steam Next Fest! Your insights will help us take the game to the next level.
