Playtest - October 24th - Join the Discord to Participate!
We will be sending playtest keys out on this date for you all to check out the game in the new engine! In order to participate all you have to do is join our discord. We will be sending out the playtest to everyone, no strings attached!
The playtest will showcase the main game features such as combat, crime, and the gang mechanics. We welcome anyone and everyone who would like to provide feedback on the current version of the game! Joining the discord will also give you access to exclusive development updates, future playtests, and the opportunity to share your feedback directly with the developers!
New Engine
We hit a snag on the old engine we were working with so we are switching over to the Godot engine. We were hoping to have more progress this year but we were just not able to push development along in the previous engine with the state it was in, which is the reason for release delays.
The new engine provides a more modern look, as well as better integration for the complex mechanics we will be implementing. We have been working in the new engine over the last few weeks and already have more features in the new version of the game then we did in the previous version!
Updated Launch Date
We were hoping to have this title ready for some kind of launch this year, but with the issues we were having it was just not possible. We can confidently say we will have some form of release by the end of next year! This timeline will allow us to add in much more on the initial launch than we previously thought as well.
If you would like to follow along with the progress just pop in the discord and take a look! You also have an open line of communication with the developers as well to ask any questions you may have.
We hope you all understand and appreciate your support!
Upcoming Store Page Updates
With all of the changes we will be doing a complete store page overhaul to showcase the new gameplay and look of the game. We plan to do that before the playtest update! We will add all new screenshots and videos of the gameplay so you can see the improvements.
