Follow and wishlist VonGarland Castle : Beyond Blood
First build of the demo is up!
The demo includes the first chapter
4 Bosses
4 puzzles
lots of pickups and enemies.
lots of lore and easter eggs.
5 unlockable achievements
I really hope people will post thoughts and feedback! I would love to know if I should make enemies and/or puzzles easier or harder and any other thoughts people have.
also if you reach the chapter end you will see your stats displayed :
bullets fired, enemies killed, saves and health used.
feel free to post these stats in the community, I would love to try to get a over all average in order to set up the scoring system and see what kind of stats should earn the precious S rank :)
a few of the things in the works for the full game and demo:
full map functionality / Map region pickups.
Display of full play time on your save file + at each chapter end.
SFXs/voice work for the shop owner/captain on the boat.
more SFXs for the bone head enemies.
more enemy types.
new music by Fredrik Rojas the composer of VonGarland castle : sacrilege of the night.
semi mappable controls, right now I have kind of mirrored Metroid Dread / RE4 controls, so I think they work pretty well but I am working on customization options.
extra move guides into in the select menu, 3 things you can do that are not currently explained anywhere
Press and hold up then press attack while in the air to do a cool Jump attack (this will have more effect soon, right now it just looks cool)
Press the action button (B) while sprinting to do a slide, good for dodging and getting through crawl spaces quickly.
use the D-pad to quick select guns & close combat weapons.
Unlockable costumes!
there will be some outfits that are clear nods to RE titles along with some over fun ones
(there are also many unlockable jackets which effect Ransoms over all stats(and style))
and please if you haven't already wishlist and follow! it helps a lot
Thanks much
