Ahoy, Seafarers!
It’s almost time to set sail – Early Access launches October 7, and we’re excited to share what’s waiting for you and what lies beyond the horizon. Today, we’re revealing the Seafarer Early Access Roadmap!
This roadmap will guide our voyage through Early Access and beyond. It’s not just a static image – you’ll find it live on our Trello board, updated regularly with new details, features you can vote on, and more.
Ready to plot your course? Let’s dive in!
🛳️ Casting off: What Awaits at Launch
When you step aboard on October 7, you’ll have an entire harbor of opportunities waiting for you. Your starting fleet features six unique ships, from the reliable Tugboat Bernhard to the dependable Cargo ferry Herbert, alongside vessels serving Tide Guard duties such as the Police boat Rigid, Police ship Density, and firefighting specialists Archer and Lancer.
From the very first voyage, you’ll find depth and variety: over 30 hours of gameplay content, a comprehensive onboarding experience, and the beginning of your journey in the first story mode campaign act. If you prefer to just jump into a mission, the Quickplay Mode will be the right fit for you.
You’ll also meet the first two factions shaping life on the seas:
Crescentport Logistics, the gateway to your cargo career
Tide Guard, protectors of the coast, ready for patrol and firefighting duties
To top it off, you’ll have access to a basic character editor to start building your seafaring persona.

⚓ On the Horizon: The First Updates
While you start your voyage on October 7, we’re already busy working on the next major updates for Seafarer, that will expand your fleet and deepen your experience. We’re excited to already give you the overview of the first two major updates planned.
📦 Crescentport Logistics: The LNG & Bulk Update (Estimated Release: Q4 2025)
The first stop on our journey through Early Access adds some true giants of the sea. The Big Trip will bring large-scale container shipping to life, while the Bulk Willy and Nordic Duchess introduce bulk cargo and LNG operations (Liquified natural gas operations). Alongside these vessels and new missions, we’ll also include bug fixes and ongoing improvements to ensure smooth sailing.
🚨 Tide Guard: The Rescue Update (Estimated Release: Q1 2026)
Next, we plan on reinforcing the Tide Guard with Salvation and Grace, two powerful new police ships, and introduce rescue operations. Once again, expect fixes, refinements, and minor features based on your feedback.
🔭 Beyond the Horizon: Already in Development
While these two updates are our first ports of call, the voyage doesn’t end there. We’ve already begun work on even more content for the future, including:
New missions for Crescentport Logistics and Tide Guard
Additional Story Missions
A Vessel Editor
A new faction (to be revealed later!)
Expanded map areas
Online co-op and multiplayer missions
And yes… more ships!
And there’s more – plenty of ideas on the table for future consideration. They’re not confirmed yet, but the possibilities are exciting.
🗺️ Your Voice on the Waves
Of course, we’re not charting this course alone. Our roadmap will live on a Trello board, where you can track development and vote on ideas. We’ll keep adding community suggestions to the board over time so your feedback can help steer the ship.
