The Talos Principle Public Test gets updated! Try it now!

If you missed the news yesterday, we released The Talos Principle Public Test to serve as additional stress and compatibility testing before The Talos Principle launches later this year.

Playing The Talos Principle Public Test day one was smooth experience for most players, but some encountered certain issues. We adressed and fixed all major issues in the meantime so now we released updated and more stabile version!

The Talos Principle Public Test will give you good taste of the game itself, so feel free to check it out! It is free after all ;)

  • Windows: Fixed problem with crashing, black screen or garbled display after Alt-Tab under Direct3D 11.
  • OSX: Fixed problem with black objects on some OS X machines.
  • Option for slower player walking speed in Options>Game Options menu.
  • More varied music.
  • For high-DPI mice, enabled lower mouse sensitivity in Options>Controls>Keyboard and Mouse menu.
  • Fixed benchmark not enabling if game was quit after finishing it.
  • Linux: Logitech F710 and F310 gamepads are now supported on Linux.
  • Fixed visibility problem on the windowed wall outside Medium puzzle.
  • Fixed some vegetation that was below the terrain.
  • Fixed collision on some direction signs.
  • Added more detail to gates in the cathedral.
  • Various small fixes and adjustments in the level.
