Let the Server Slam begin!
Head on over to our Steam page to join in for free and explore some of the latest features in Crystalfall, including the new Technomancr class. You have 24 hours!
Crystalfall is only available on Windows PC and the Server Slam is held here on Steam - free to join.
To access the Server Slam, follow these steps:
1. Launch Steam and search for Crystalfall if you don’t already have it wishlisted.
2. Navigate to the Playtest section under the Trailer.
3. Click on the “Request Access” button.
4. Steam might say something like "This Playtest is not currently active" - ignore this. The game should appear in your Steam Library as "Crystalfall Playtest". Download it from there.
5. After Crystalfall has downloaded, launch the game and create an account. If you already have the game downloaded from a previous playtest, we recommend reinstalling the game, if any issues to access occur.
6. Now you’re ready to go. Happy playing!

Disclaimer: Please note that the game is still undergoing performance and bug testing and is not in a launch-ready state. We hold the Server Slam early to give our team time to make adjustments before launch, if needed.
This is a chance for all players to check out Crystalfall and familiarize yourselves with our game systems and features. A lot of new features and updates have been added since our last playtest, including the new Technomancer class, which will be available for you to try.
The purpose of the Server Slam is to stress test our servers in a real test environment to ensure that our launch in Early Access is as smooth as possible. In order to have as many players as possible playing at the same time, we’ll be running this for a 24 hour period.
What to Expect During the Crystalfall Server Slam
The Server Slam will give players a chance to experience what Crystalfall has to offer in Early Access, while testing the durability of our servers prior to launch.
All features planned for Early Access will be available to explore, however, please bear in mind that the game is still undergoing performance and bug testing and is not yet in a launch-ready state.
Any character progress made during previous playtests will not carry over to the Server Slam. Additionally, any character progress made during the Server Slam will not carry over to the Early Access launch.
Play for as long as you want, ideally longer than 1 hour of playtime, or at least until you reach the first encampment, in order for the servers to be fully tested.
The version of Crystalfall available during the Server Slam will include all the latest features and updates, such as the new Technomancer class and new world area zones. You can also craft and upgrade items and access the stash.
The Server Slam build is not localized to any other languages but English.

When can I start the download? Only once the Playtest becomes available at the scheduled start time (12pm UTC) on Steam.
GAME GUIDE
You can place a skill in your right click slot. This will replace your default attack with the skill of choice.
If you don't understand what to do or how to use items - remember to read the tooltips on each item. The tooltips explain how the items are used. If you don't how something works, first experiment with different keys before asking for help.
If you can't pick up health / aether orbs - orbs will only be picked up if your flask chargers are not full.
If you're stuck on loading screen, try these steps:
Close the game ex using ALT + F4
Start the game again
Be in the main menu
Next to Start Game use the “Reset World” Button
Wait 30sec
Start game
