Hello Riders,
Thank you everyone for your support on launch day! We’re all very happy about all the great feedback. We had over 125k players on Day 1 and have an unbelievable metacritic of 92%!
We wanted to give you a little update on the most important things we’re working on.
- Leaderboards: Unfortunately the leaderboard servers didn’t survive the number of players yesterday and we need to do some optimizations before we can bring them back up again. We are working hard on it but we don’t have an ETA for the fix at the moment.
- Quickmatch Issues: Although multiplayer works mostly fine we are tracking a whole bunch of unregular issues, especially in the quickmatch. We’re trying to fix what we can at the moment and it would be great if you keep the reports and log-files coming as some of them are really hard to reproduce for us. Also please feel free to join our Discord and use the looking-for-tours and become-friends channels to organize private tours as they seem to be a lot more stable. There are also audio channels you can use for better communication.
- Racing Timer: For some unknown reason our racing timer (which starts when a player takes too long to reach the finish line) is completely broken. We’re working on fixing this right now.
We will keep you updated on these issues and will inform when a new patch will go live in the coming days. In the meantime we hope you still have a good time on the Lonely Mountains and please keep your feedback, ideas and suggestions coming.
