Inside the Development Process
In our last devlog we were introducing you the Upgrades feature!
When we've gathered enough energy from the defeated enemies, the "Upgrades" screen appears! Here is where we will decide whether to embrace the chaos and power or to protect ourselves.
There are 3 major choices we can make, and every time the Upgrades screen shows up, we can only choose one:
🔹 Upgrades! - There are lots of Documents within the runs that will give Iret several improvements all across the stats, from more damage or HP to critical and cooldowns.
🔹 Passives - Iret can always opt for one of two passive actions: heal back to full, or gain a shield that will protect here from the next hit (no matter how big it is)
🔹 Dayir - If we have found Dayir through the Vortex, we can heal or empower Dayir too, creating a deeper bond with him!
If we choose to move forward with the first option: Upgrades, we might encounter another tweak: the Chaos. Whenever we want to push the boundaries of a document, a decision must be done:
Sacrifice 5 minutes of the Vortex realm in reward to keep progressing in the Document itself.

What are we working on?
Our next major update comes with the last feature to be shown yet! The Hard Mode. Face the void even from the start, where all enemies get boosted with unique abilities as you try to reach the Neverending Night. Can you conquer the void?
We will talk more about it closer to the Full Launch!

Pro tip for Upgrades!:
hold sacrificing time until you have multiple documents ready for the threshold, doing it that way, you can optimize a lot the Upgrades without sacrificing a precious time that you might need on the Tyrant boss!
