But nostalgia, as always, is a double-edged blade, and Reloaded makes it clear just how much the series has aged in both design and feel.
This is not a ground-up reimagining. It is not a sweeping reinvention or bold reinterpretation of what Gears of War could be in 2025. Reloaded is, for better and worse, a preservation piece with a few modern flourishes.
