Hello everyone!
I've got another update for you, with lots of bugfixes and tweaks for two new experimental features we introduced recently!
Screen Sharing got a lot of bugfixes and tweaks, which should make the streams work in a lot more cases where they would fail before.
QUIC also got an important improvement - I managed to backport setting priority for the streams from .NET 11, so voice & pose streams are now much higher priority than the rest.
If voices & poses got choppy before with assets being transfered, give it another test please and see how well it behaves now. If things are promising, we'll invest more time into this protocol, as it's already very promising.
New Features:
- Added "Hide menu button in VR" setting to hide the hamburger button on desktop tab (based on request by @epiceaston197, @dustysprinkles, issue #6928)
Tweaks:
- Swap Keyboard & Share Screen button positions (requested by @epiceaston197, issue #6927)
Optimizations:
- Backported QUIC stream priority assignment from .NET 11 and set appropriate priorities
-- Voice & Pose streams have highest priority
-- World data model changes medium
-- Asset transfers lowest
-- This might help with some users experiencing degraded voice/poses when assets are transferring - please give it a test and see how well this works with this build!
Locale:
- Merged Chinese locale update by @modimobeikete and @ninnana.
- Merged French locale update by @baplar
