Hello everyone!
Sorry for few builds lately, I've been dealing with some administrative stuff and meetings, so I didn't have as much time for coding and I mostly spend it hacking away at some SteamLink things, that will come soon.
Here's a bunch of bugfixes and improvements in the meanwhile.
New Features:
- Added Rotation, UVScale & UVOffset properties to GridMesh
Optimizations:
- Change process priority class from AboveNormal to High to potentially improve performance on systems with hybrid core architecture (based on report by @ultrawidegamer, issue #6176)
Tweaks:
- Update default font chains to fix a number of characters not rendering (reported by @kebbbbb, Mhowser, issue #4183)
- Changed quad to grid mesh in GridSpace
-- This should help prevent the ground shaking at certain angles with AMD GPU's (reported by @.fulgens, @satellaview.dev, @reddneko, @krzeszny, @shininghero, @_deltawolf, @zyro1331, @karasutengu, @point7755, issue #3829)
- Switch libVLC resampler to speex for better quality
-- This should significantly improve audio quality for multimedia files that are not 48 kHz (reported by @enverex, @epiceaston197, @foolishsnowmew, @sctanf, @rabbuttz, @zyro1331, @hayden_fluff, issue #282)
- Update number of NuGet packages to latest versions
Fixes:
- Fixed models flipping & turning inside-out when imported with blendshape tangents (reported by @spexcat, @karasutengu, @art0007i, issue #2388, fixed by @BlueCyro)
- Fixed crash when particle system tries to rebuild renderers, but the renderer has been destroyed (based on report by @reddneko, issue #3863 and @aegis_wolf, @yoshiyoshiyoshiyoshiyoshyoshyosh, @ryuvi, @charizmare, @eldritchkaiju, Zaphiel, @modernballoonie, issue #4541)
- Fixed session dialog not using localized strings for ResoniteLink (reported by @baplar, issue #6105)
- Fixed deadlock when connection closes due to timeout, resulting Resonite in locking up (reported by @_deltawolf, @aritosuits, @zyro1331, @stiefeljackal, Ghost, @dustysprinkles, @jackthefoxotter, @reddneko, mxjessie, AwesomeTornado, @jvyden4, @krzeszny, @ohzee @bredo, issue #2681)
-- This also fixes LNL threads deadlocking and not getting cleaned up
- Fix AccountDump tool failing to retrieve data due to security changes on the cloud API (reported by @zyro1331, mxjessie, issue #6158)
