S! Steam Friends!
WWII Online is now rolling out in the Steam Store!
It has been a long road to get to this point for us at CRS and all of us are very excited to have Steam users in the game!
We're already seeing some great teamwork in game! (Not to mention some pretty epic paratrooper missions!)
I just wanted to take a moment to help everyone's transition onto the virtual battlefield!
When you're joining the battle for the first time, you will launch the game and it will present you with several options including Join the Battle, Training Server, and Play Offline.
To get to the Main Campaign server, all you have to do is click the Join the Battle button.
This will launch you into the campaign. If it is the first time you've logged in, you will be required to complete the first 5 Training Tutorials. This will give you a basic understanding of some of the controls and how to use the map and the chat.
Once you complete these, you'll be able to choose your side, select a squad, and join the battle!
A Couple of Issues We've Seen So Far
Here are and a couple of quick links to some support articles regarding a couple of the common issues we've been seeing today:
- It's not allowing me to download: The store page is available to everyone, but the game is not yet available to all regions. Please take a look at the "News" Section here on Steam to see the release plan and when we expect the game to be available in your region.
- DPI Scaling Issue: The game first loads, even with the correct resolution set, and it's too big for the screen. The player can only see a portion of the screen.
- All Personas Locked or Being Forced into Training: Some players are having an issue with seeing Red Locks on all personas or being forced into training even though they have passed all training.
WWII Online will be released between September 5th - September 22nd 2017. This is to ensure best game experiences and ramp up our player numbers. These dates are subject to change based on outcomes of unlocking each region. September 5th: Canada, Mexico and South America September 8th: United States of America September 12th: All of Europe September 15th: All of Asia September 19th: Oceania September 22nd: The rest of the world
