Hi everyone,
This patch fixes several game-breaking bugs reported by players. I’m really sorry these issues made it into the game, and it took me some time to track down the root causes. Thank you for your patience while I worked on the fixes.
Here are the updates:
Critical Bug Fixes
Critical Bug Fix: Opening the load menu with a corrupted save file could cause the entire menu UI to become unresponsive. This issue has now been fixed. Unfortunately, corrupted save files themselves were from very old versions of the game and cannot be recovered.
Critical Bug Fix: When starting Act 2 from an older save file on a day when a newspaper event occurs, players could become stuck. This has now been resolved.
Bug Fixes
Bug Fix: When loading a save that begins in the Central Market, customers who later arrive to order food could get stuck at the entrance.
Controller Fixes
Controller Fix: Players can now properly exit the Magic Broom naming screen when using a controller.
Controller Fix: Fixed an issue where rooms could not be expanded when using a controller.
Thank you again for your continued support and for helping make Magic Inn better!
