Fellow Dwarves!
We have an announcement to make!
As you may know the demo is still live when it should have been taken down and we have had some talks over the last few days about the demo.
We initially thought that it would be great to run it for a week and then turn it off. Since then we have seen a tonne of people come to the discord, join the community, play the game, and give feedback. Not only that but it has helped catapult the game on Steam and has helped us also get our game out to thousands of people and the players and most importantly the wishlist's are increasing rapidly!
Many of you want to play more, and we were concerned that maybe theirs too much free game.
That being said, when we looked at what we are going to add to Orebound, whats coming and launch and what we have planned over year one. You've barely scratched the surface.
We don't think that is an issue. In fact we feel, with everyones help and support leaving the demo live for the foreseeable future is the best way to go. **It's making the game stronger in every way.
So officially we are declaring the Demo open for business permanently until we decide to shut it down, which might be in a week, a month, or never. Until we have a really strong reason against keeping it live. We don't want to turn it off.
We are going to run some in the coming days and weeks to get some really good feedback on where you all think we should focus, we feel we have a good idea but theirs so many ideas and so much feedback we want to get a solid list.
The team is fixing and updating as fast as possible. So much great QOL feedback that we are going to do before launch, it's been really helpful.
As an added bonus and thank you we have also decided that we are going to turn on the procedural generator. So you can all play thousands of maps. We will likely enable this late next week!
Thank you!
