Dear Deans,
We are extremely grateful for your unwavering support for The Snow . Since the game's launch, we have received enthusiastic feedback and valuable suggestions from many deans, and it is your support that propels us forward.
As the Logistics Department of Welfare Home , with a sense of regret, we announce to everyone: In order to integrate versions and coordinate with the national region launch, The Snow will temporarily be taken off the Steam platform and will be relaunched simultaneously when it goes live in the national region.
The specific downtime will be from November 18th to December 5th.
I. Why is the shutdown and restart necessary?
1. As the version development progresses, we have realized that the existing version has many technical shortcomings, including but not limited to performance optimization, stability enhancement, and cross-server matching. The synchronization issues that deans often encounter are due to the underlying code. Without spending a week for large-scale adjustments, it is difficult to perfectly resolve these issues. Therefore, to provide deans with a smoother and more stable gaming experience, we need to carry out comprehensive technical upgrades and updates to the game.
2. Another core purpose is to keep in sync with the domestic version, including cross-server matching battles. We have tried other methods such as match ban cards or self-selected server matching, but none of them can perfectly solve the cross-server matching issue. So, to ensure that all players can match with each other and play together, maintaining version consistency is the best method.
3. Lastly, the launch of the Ouroboros faction was somewhat hasty. We had prepared related stories and activities for it, but at that time, for testing purposes, we released it ahead of schedule on the Steam version. After this restart, deans will also be able to follow the version and experience the complete story and activity experience.
Although it is a short-term downtime, we understand that it will still cause many inconveniences to the deans. Here, we extend our apologies to all deans affected by this, and we have prepared many compensations. With some lessons from previous games, we will definitely satisfy the deans in terms of compensation.
II. Our Compensation:
1. Refund for paid players: We promise to retain the payment records of the deans and return the pheromones according to the rebate rules for paid test players for all paid players.
2. Subordinate compensation: For all deans who have reached the 1600-point Flame segment, we will gift each dean one of each Same-name Subordinate card after the restart (excluding Ouroboros and alternate art cards).
3. Additionally, each veteran dean can join the QQ group (724953283), take a screenshot of their account and register with the administrator @Xuefeng, and we will prepare a physical peripheral gift for you.
We hope to compensate for the inconvenience to the deans during the game's downtime as much as possible and express our gratitude to the dean community.
In conclusion, we once again extend our most sincere apologies to all deans affected by the game's downtime. Thank you for your continuous companionship and support. Once the game is adjusted, we will relaunch it as soon as possible, bringing a better gaming product and a more comfortable experience to the deans.
We look forward to embarking on the snowy realm together with all the deans once again.
