Legendary Gazelle & Long-Range Shooting
Hello, Hunters!
I’m back after successfully wrapping up my trip to Gamescom.
During the event, I had many great meetings and meaningful conversations, which I believe will lead to a variety of positive changes for PROJECT HUNT in the future.
As the first step, this update introduces the new Legendary Gazelle, support for long-range shooting, and several other improvements.
Also, if you have enjoyed the game, please consider leaving a review. Every review means a great deal to me as an indie developer and helps me continue improving PROJECT HUNT.
Thanks!
New Legendary Animal
The Legendary Gazelle has been added.
The Legendary Gazelle has three variants: Common, Melanistic, and Albino.
The Legendary Gazelle has a very low chance of appearing in Land of Life and Luminous Meadow.
Long-Range Shooting Support
A new option has been added that allows you to increase the animal visibility range up to 2 km.
A high-end PC is recommended for smooth gameplay when the animal visibility range is set to its maximum value.
Most firearms have a maximum shooting range of approximately 1 km. The M82 and M300, both Shooting Grade 5 firearms, have a maximum shooting range of 2 km.
When using a scope, an OUT OF RANGE warning will appear if you aim beyond the firearm’s effective range.
Each firearm now displays its Range Grade and recommended Animal Class.
Hitting an animal from a distance of 800 meters or more will trigger a LONG RANGE SHOT text effect.
A long-range score will be added to the leaderboard when an animal is killed instantly from at least 800 meters away, or when the animal is successfully harvested after being hit at least once from that distance.
Hitting smaller animals from greater distances awards a higher score.
