New Weapon: Crossbow
The crossbow can fire two types of bolts.
Standard Bolt: Effective for hunting animals at close range.
Successful hunts with bolts yield 10% higher carcass value compared to firearms.
Tranquilizer Bolt: Can be used to capture animals.
When a tranquilizer bolt hits and the animal’s sedation resistance reaches 0, the animal becomes sedated.
Approaching a fully sedated animal allows you to capture it.
Captured animals grant an instant reward, with significantly higher value than a normal carcass.
⚠ Note: Captured animals disappear immediately and leave no hunting record (no taxidermy, butchering, or grilling possible).
LONE STAR HUNTING RANCH DLC – Pre-Patch
Preparations for the DLC launching on September 25 have been applied.
CHANGED
Cooking with the grill has been updated: • You must first light the grill. • Right-click raw chicken or egg items to display the Grill button, then press it to cook.
Adjusted the base value of animal carcasses.
FIXED
Fixed an issue where tents disappeared after removing one when more than 30 were placed.
Fixed hitbox calculation bugs in the hunting results screen.
Fixed an issue where the tutorial red deer did not yield a carcass.
Fixed an issue where red foxes did not yield a carcass.
Fixed certain sound effects that could not be adjusted.
