Hello travelers! Are you enjoying your journey today?
In today's Travel Log, we'd like to give you a peek at the progress of the Constellation rework we mentioned last time, as well as introduce a new system coming in the future: Traveler Mastery!
What kind of Stars are we creating?
Stars will no longer function as permanent upgrades, but instead will become a flexible system where you can equip and unequip them from slots. Some stars are simple stat boosts, while others change the way you play a character. This allows you to make the game easier, harder, or give it a fresh feel. You can freely customize each traveler to your liking.
There are four types of stars and star slots: Destruction, Imagination, Life, and Flexibility. Each star must be equipped in the appropriate slot. However, there are some exception rules, such as stars equipped in different types of slots still functioning at 50% efficiency, or Flexibility stars and slots acting as a kind of "wild card" that isn't restricted by type.
Additionally, in response to feedback about the inconvenience of turning constellations on and off repeatedly, we've decided to add a feature that allows you to save multiple constellation builds and instantly load the one you want. We hope this constellation rework, which will be implemented in the full version of Shape of Dreams, will enhance the fun of character customization.
Traveler Mastery
Some of you play all travelers equally, while others might spend 10 hours on just a few characters. Either way, we all have our own ways of showing affection for our travelers. To reward players who spend a lot of time with their travelers, we've decided to add a system called "Traveler Mastery".
By playing games with a specific traveler, you can collect Traveler Mastery points, and when you gather enough points, your level increases. This Traveler Mastery level will be displayed to other players in the lobby, allowing you to show everyone how much you love that intimidating hammer guy, and as you level up, you can earn exclusive rewards like special character emblems. New stars and additional slot counts will also be unlocked according to your level.
Please leave us feedback on these changes! We read all of your comments and will continue to work hard to make a better game based on your input.
Thank you for your patience. Happy travels!
