Alright, guys, let’s do this one last time.
The game’s release is just around the corner, so we’re updating the demo once again.
Global Balance Adjustments
We’ve made the first biome more beginner-friendly, adjusted trap damage and enemy counts, and slightly lowered the barrier to entry. That doesn’t mean the Meat Factory has turned into a walk in the park — there are still plenty of challenging sections, they just appear much later now.
Ah... If only you had seen the early versions of the game, where the green goo, presses, and lasers killed the player instantly. Those were the days.
Updated Alley of the Dead System
Out with the ammo, in with the container!
Ammo has been completely removed from the game. It has been replaced by a container that the player always starts with by default. It can store a certain number of artifacts and larvae and carry them over into the next run.
You can also buy a larger container in Sho’s shop. However, this container has its own durability, which decreases every time you visit the Alley of the Dead.
New Localization
We’ve added full Chinese localization thanks to our partner, Vsoo Games. We’ve also added Japanese.
Before release, we plan to add all of the remaining languages.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where the loading screen would disappear if you died during the tutorial. You seriously died in the tutorial?
Fixed a bug where the Worker could deal instant damage without playing an animation after recovering from a stun.
Fixed a bug where the Inspector could deal contact damage while attacking.
Fixed several localization issues.
Fixed issues with some artifacts.
We plan to officially announce the release date soon, so don’t miss the announcement!
