As we are going to PGC Helsinki in October, a lot of time this week has been dedicated to preparation for that. This means that this week's (and probably the two upcoming weeks) development process has been a bit slower for the normal game updates, however we do have an amazing new trailer to show you!
So what has been done this week? First of all we have updated the orange color again, to make it somewhat more balanced and make it feel better. We have also done a lot of polishing work, including updating all backgrounds, adding light effects to the caves, and adding more sounds in the game. We now for example have a sound system for all colors in the game. Several new items have also been added to create more interesting dynamics and synergies in the game.
We have also added a new system that gives starting players some useful tips in the early stages in the game. Our goal is to make the tutorial less cluttered and spread out some of the information so that it is easier for new players to learn the game. This is however still a work in progress.
Go watch the new trailer!
