The Mountainhome Is Ready For The Chaos!
Greetings, adventurers. I'm thrilled to announce that Dwarf Legacy is joining Steam Bullet Fest 2026! A week-long celebration of bullet hells, survivor-likes, and everything in between that wants you dead via projectiles.
This felt like a natural fit from the moment I saw the fest. Dwarf Legacy was built from the ground up around one core idea: you are outnumbered, the air is full of things that want to kill you, and you climb anyway. That's bullet hell. That's The Mountainhome.
What Awaits You In The Mountainhome?
⚔ Vertical Dungeons: Climb treacherous, hand-crafted floors packed with traps and projectile-firing creatures. Learn their patterns. Find the gaps. Don't fall.
🦇 The Swarm: Massive bat flocks descend without warning, turning the air into a living wall of teeth and wings. Hold your ground and survive.
⛏ Build Your Dwarf: Strategically balance resource collection and equipment upgrades. Unlock unique helmets with passive abilities and tailor your playstyle to the chaos.
🏆 Global Leaderboard: Think survival isn't enough? Race against the clock and prove you are the greatest dwarf to ever conquer The Mountainhome.
Try The Demo This Week
The demo is live on Steam right now. If you've been on the fence, Bullet Fest is the perfect excuse to finally descend. Learn the bullet patterns. Master the platforming. Survive the Swarm. Then come back and do it faster.
The fest also means more eyes discovering games like this one. If you enjoy the demo, a wishlist and a word to a friend goes a long way for an indie dev. It genuinely makes a difference.
Fest runs: June 8–15, 2026
Thank you to everyone who has played the demo, left feedback, and followed along. Every climb, every run, every comment shapes where this game goes next. See you in The Mountainhome.
