🛠️ Dwarf Legacy Joins Steam Next Fest: A Dream One Year in the Making! 🛠️
Greetings, Dwarffolk!
Exactly one year ago, I opened the Steam store page for Dwarf Legacy with more doubt than hope. In a world of hyper-realistic graphics and AAA titles, I wasn’t sure if a pixel art, 2D platformer had a place in 2025. Would anyone care?
Today, I finally have my answer.
I’m thrilled (and a bit emotional) to announce that Dwarf Legacy is part of Steam Next Fest – June Edition! And with it comes something truly special: a one-time demo event unlike anything before!
🎮 The Demo: Not Just a Taste, a Challenge
For Steam Next Fest, I’ve created a special edition of the Dwarf Legacy Demo just for you.
🪓 7 Bonus Levels: Each crafted with love and grit, these levels are completely exclusive to Next Fest.
🕗 1 Level Unlocks Each Day: Starting Day 1 of the Fest, a new bonus level will unlock daily. Come back every day to discover all of them!
🔥 Limited-Time Only: At the end of June these 7 levels will be gone forever. No re-releases. No second chances. Forever lost in the depts of The Mountainhome.
This is your one shot to test your skills as a true Dwarffolk warrior and carve your name in the forge of legends.
🧵 Join the Forge: Community & Challenges
Are you stuck on a level? Want to share tips or just brag about a flawless run? Join the Dwarf Legacy Discord and meet fellow Dwarffolk rising to the challenge. I'm there too, watching, cheering, and sharing behind-the-scenes thoughts during the Fest. As a solo dev, your feedback, reactions, and support mean the world to me.
As a bonus, you will be able to claim unique Discord Ranks to gain access to locked Discord Channels with bonus content, early updates and backstage development stories!
⛏️ From One Pickaxe to Many
Dwarf Legacy is not just a game. It’s my journey. A solo endeavor carved pixel by pixel, driven by passion, and finally reaching a community who believes in it as much as I do. So pick up your axe, Dwarffolk. Let’s make this Fest one to remember. 💥
See you in the mines,
– Wulo, The Developer of Dwarf Legacy
