Hello everyone 🖤
After two weeks of focused development, the next Concubine update is ready.
This update is all about character customization and visual improvements. While the previous patch introduced the Lingerie Trader and expanded wardrobe options, this one focuses on strengthening the systems underneath it. New tattoos, improved character proportions, updated armor fitting, refreshed poses, and a brand-new lingerie set all come together to make character creation and party customization feel better than ever.
Some of these changes are immediately noticeable. Others work quietly behind the scenes, improving almost every outfit, screenshot, and character in the game.
Let's take a look at what's new.
Tattoos Have Arrived
One of the most requested customization features is finally here.
With this update, tattoos can now be applied not only to your main character but also to your companions. Every member of your party can now be customized with tattoos across multiple body regions, allowing for much greater visual variety and character identity.
Tattoos can currently be applied to the chest, back, both arms, and both legs, with multiple color variations available for selected designs. Whether you prefer subtle decorative details or more elaborate body art, the new system offers plenty of room for experimentation.
This is only the beginning of our tattoo collection. Now that the underlying system is fully integrated, we can continue expanding it with new artistic styles, themes, and designs in future updates.
Looking further ahead, we know many of you are interested in modding and Workshop support. While we have not started development on those systems yet, our long-term goal is to make tattoos as expandable as character presets. Once Workshop support arrives, community-created tattoo packs should become a natural extension of the customization experience.
For now, this update lays the foundation for everything that comes next.
Sand Serpent Armor Rework
The Sand Serpent Armor has received a significant visual update.
The new version features improved physics behavior, a cleaner silhouette, and a much more natural appearance during movement. The skirt now reacts better while exploring, posing, and interacting with other outfit pieces, making it feel considerably more polished overall.
One of the biggest advantages of the rework becomes apparent when combining it with lingerie pieces. The updated design creates far more interesting combinations and opens up new styling possibilities for players who enjoy experimenting with different looks.
As we continue expanding customization options, revisiting older equipment and bringing it up to modern standards remains an important part of our development process.
Character Model & Outfit Improvements
A significant portion of this update happened behind the scenes.
Over the past two weeks, we revisited the Base Female model and improved its underlying weight distribution. While this may sound like a technical change, the results can be seen throughout the entire customization system.
The updated weighting creates a cleaner silhouette, more natural posture, and improved overall proportions. Because these changes affect the foundation of the character model itself, we also completed a broad reweight pass across numerous armor and outfit pieces to ensure everything fits correctly with the new body shape.
The result is more consistent outfit fitting, smoother animations, and a noticeable improvement in overall character presentation. Many of these adjustments are subtle on their own, but together they help create a more polished and visually cohesive experience throughout the game.
Updated Poses
Since the character model itself has evolved, the pose system needed some attention as well.
We revisited and updated existing poses to better match the new proportions and weight distribution. The result is a more natural presentation, cleaner character screenshots, and better-looking group photos with your companions.
The pose system is still evolving, and we plan to expand it further with additional options and improvements in future updates. Even so, the current adjustments already provide a noticeable boost to character presentation.
Imperial Princess Lingerie Set
Of course, no customization update would be complete without something new to wear.
This update introduces the Imperial Princess Lingerie Set, the latest addition to Concubine's growing lingerie collection.
Featuring a more regal and luxurious aesthetic, Imperial Princess offers another distinctive style for players who enjoy creating unique character looks and experimenting with different outfit combinations.
As always, this is only one step in the expansion of the lingerie system. To help decide what comes next, we've opened a Patreon vote where supporters can choose the next lingerie set they'd like to see in the game:

Combat Adjustments
Of course, we do not want you to think this update is only about cosmetics.
After magic entered the game, we received feedback that combat difficulty had become lower than intended, especially when playing with a full party. We agreed that some encounters were ending too quickly, so we made several balance adjustments to help preserve the challenge and pacing of combat.
With this update, companion combat contribution has been adjusted, and several boss encounters have been rebalanced to last longer and feel more meaningful. Mankurt, Korsan, Zebellah, Alamet, and Salome should now offer stronger and more satisfying fights, giving players more time to enjoy their mechanics, atmosphere, and combat flow.
These changes are part of our ongoing effort to keep progression, party strength, and encounter difficulty in a healthier place as new systems are added to the game.
Looking Ahead
Our current goal is to continue with another relatively fast update over the next couple of weeks.
While plans may change during development, we're hoping to tackle the Movement Keys Aren't Rebindable issue, add the winning lingerie set from the Patreon vote, and expand the tattoo collection with at least one new set.
We're also considering replacing several remaining placeholder encounters, including Alamet, Salome and / or Zebellah Combat. If time permits, we'd also like to investigate full-resolution texture performance and experiment with dynamic armor materials.
Looking further into July, additional lingerie and tattoo content is already planned, while larger features such as controller support and potentially even a new level remain on the table. As always, we'll share more details once plans become more concrete.
Thank you for your continued support, feedback, screenshots, and suggestions. Every update helps us move one step closer to the vision we have for the game, and we're excited to keep building it together. 🖤
