ALPINE ADVENTURE RECOGNIZED! "Above the Snow" IS AN INDIE GAME AWARD 2026 FINALIST FOR BEST NARRATIVE!
Hello, Hikers! The Above the Desk team has news for you that is as warming as a cup of hot cocoa by the fireplace!
We are extremely happy and proud to announce that our cozy mountain lodge management tycoon, Above the Snow, has been officially nominated in the prestigious Best Narrative category at the Indie Game Award 2026 at the Taipei Game Show!
We poured our hearts into making "Above the Snow" not just a relaxing management game, but first and foremost an engaging adventure full of warmth and mountain stories. Our narrative, focusing on the lodge crew, demanding guests, Alpine intrigues, and the battle against the approaching Great Avalanche, has been noticed and appreciated on the international stage!
This nomination, among such strong global competition, is a huge honor for us and proof that even in tycoon games, the story is paramount.
What's Next?
Keep your fingers crossed for our lodge crew! The winners will be announced during the award ceremony on January 28, 2026, in Taipei. We will keep you updated on whether our Alpine resort wins the statue!
Thank you for being with us! Your support and enthusiasm make us feel like this mountain mission is worthwhile! If you haven't added "Above the Snow" to your Wishlist yet – now is the perfect time to feel that Alpine vibe!
