We're thrilled to announce an exciting partnership that will elevate the "Above the Snow" experience to new heights! Fjordfiesta, a contemporary Norwegian design brand renowned for its high-quality craftsmanship and innovative design, is joining our alpine world, enriching the possibilities for building and customizing your mountain lodge
In "Above the Snow," you manage a mountain business, facing harsh winters and ensuring the comfort of your guests. With the integration of Fjordfiesta, the role of furniture in shelter building becomes even more significant. You can now furnish your alpine resort with pieces that beautifully blend aesthetics and functionality, embodying the spirit of timeless Scandinavian design.
Fjordfiesta, located on the west coast of Norway, is passionate about developing cutting-edge design furniture, collaborating with young designers, and revitalizing classic gems from Norwegian design heritage. Their commitment to high-quality craftsmanship, advanced technology, and sustainability is evident in every piece, and most of the furniture is produced in Norway. They work with celebrated designers like Anderssen & Voll and Tron Meyer, and design from well-known architects such as Hans Brattrud and Sverre Fehn. As well as emerging contemporary talents.
This philosophy of timeless design and minimizing environmental footprint, with an ambition to become fully circular and sustainable, perfectly aligns with our goal of building strong immersion within the game world. Every interior design element contributes to creating an authentic and engaging atmosphere, allowing players to feel like the hosts of a premium mountain resort.
"We believe that true immersion comes from the details, and the quality and design philosophy of Fjordfiesta perfectly complement our vision for 'Above the Snow'," says Michał Wasiak, CEO of Above the Desk. "Their furniture will not only allow players to build more beautiful and functional resorts but also deepen the connection to the authentic alpine experience we aim to deliver."
