Since the last playtest Kingdom Flipper has gone through a bunch of changes!
👀The New Look
The most noticeable change, of course, is an entirely new look!
Kingdom Flipper has been well… flipped, if you will, with a healthy dose of unique style. As I was creating assets and following feedback it occurred to me that everything looked perhaps a little too realistic. While that is a staple of simulator games I wanted to make sure Kingdom Flipper stood out.

After
With that in mind, I’ve set out to replace all the assets with this new stylized look, while still keeping that “Kingdom Flipper Aesthetic”

🧹New Cleaning System
Welcome to your new way of cleaning!
Gone are the days of patting the wall with a broom to clean it. When the broom is selected it will now become a handy scrub brush when used against dirty walls.
Move your new scrub brush around the dirty wall and (actually) scrub the grime right off that stone!
Look how it sparkles now. Beautiful.
🖌️New Way to Paint
After selecting your paint you’ll now guide a paintbrush over the wall. Do this until the wall is completely covered - both satisfying and more active than it was before!
We call that in the kingdom a win-win.
✅Improved Tutorial
The tutorial has been expanded to include how to add furniture, use the new cleaning and painting systems, and overall guide you into flipping your first buildings more easily.
Plus a ride to your new crib, I mean home base!
Of course, the changes never really end when you’re still building a game, these features will continue to be tweaked with your feedback and more to be added.
Check these big changes out, many more bug fixes, and quality-of-life tweaks in the upcoming playtest on December 6th, and let me know what you think. Sign up today here and join the community over on Discord!
