🛠 What’s New in Hero Quest
- Force Resistance now reduces physical damage taken by a percentage, adding more depth to combat strategy.
- Talent costs for party members have been significantly reduced, making progression smoother.
- Stat descriptions have been improved for better clarity and understanding.
- Updated UI: Opponent special traits (like Cautious Behavior and Initiative) are now displayed when selecting enemies.
- New Dungeon: Fogmine (recommended rating: 700–1400), featuring exciting new gear to collect.
- New Friendly Camp: Shivepoint, which offers quests tied to the Fogmine dungeon.
- Spell Vendor UI now filters out spells you already know or have in your inventory.
- Potions can now be used on disabled units, allowing for better tactical decisions.
- Mana Potions have been added to help sustain spellcasting during longer battles.
- Mortal Strike now deals an additional 8% of the target’s max HP as bonus damage.
- Sweeping Strike no longer splits damage between multiple targets — each target now takes full damage.
- New Spell: Icy Breath (Frost Mage) – Deals damage in a 90° cone in the selected direction.
- New Spell: Holy Nova (Cleric) – Bursts from the caster, damaging enemies and healing allies in range.
🐞 Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where purchasing quest items from the market didn’t complete the quest.
- Passive spells can no longer be dragged or repositioned.
- Frost Nova now correctly applies a freezing effect in addition to damage.
- Fixed a dungeon loading bug that could lock the game if closed during loading.
- Resolved UI issues with item sets.
- Fixed a crash caused by the Revenge spell under specific conditions.
- Fixed a bug where opening the inventory in a friendly town before moving could freeze the player.
- Fixed an issue where spells couldn't be learned from spell bags.
- Corrected hero appearance selection issues caused by specific class and spell combinations.
- Fixed an issue where items couldn’t be swapped from bags to the backpack.
- Fixed a bug allowing non-collectible items to be added to the collection inventory.
- Addressed an issue where the level-up popup appeared multiple times for the same level.
- Vitality is now correctly tracked as one of the Dark Knight's primary stats.
