Greetings Railfans,
We have just released an update for a number of locomotives from the developer Smokebox.
All changes listed below affect the three locomotives:
- CPRR 4-4-0 No. 60 ‘Jupiter’ Steam Loco
- Union Pacific No. 119 Steam Loco
- CPRR 4-6-0 Buffalo Steam Loco
Update Notes
- Corrected the player instruction in the Scenario [UP119] 3:10 to Laramie which advises the player that they need to change a switch manually which was erroneously affected by a previous update
- Steam now drains properly from the cylinders when the regulator is closed and the cylinder cocks open whilst the loco is stationary
- Improvements to chuffing and clanking sounds when loco is backing up and for AI locos
- AI locos now always blows the whistle twice when setting off forwards
- Fixed an issue that would cause firebox flames to extend into the cab on AI locos
- Corrected the glass in CPRR baggage car windows
- Improved bell sounds for CPRR No. 60 "Jupiter"
- Fixed an issue that would cause "Emergency" braking displaying whilst the player train comes to a stop
