Hello! I just wanted to jump on here to let anyone that likes reading these messages what's up and what is being worked on over here whatever yada yada!
But first, I wanted to recollect a tad bit, because this IS the first game I've ever published here and being in development for 2+ years, with daily updates for a whole 615 days meant that there has been a lot that has evolved over the course of it!
I am so very grateful for everyone that has given the game a shot! And of course always listening to new ideas and feedback! I think it goes without saying that much has been learned and gathered from this game and how to create more in general. Starting from ground zero, building back up my development pipeline from a position of already having one elsewhere (if you didn't know, we DO have games elsewhere) and picking up this engine from scratch is always a trip but we got through it! And I am sitting here so proud that we actually, ACTUALLY got something out the door, out of early access, and can live on for however long! Its actually amazing, so so so so amazing.
So thank you.
Doing daily updates on the game, working at this full-time and really trying something rather large and different from my other projects has been great and I think I am very proud of what is been made here. TDS has been a special project that has been brewing for years and for everything considered, I think it hit all the marks I wanted it to!
Not JUST a Tower Defense
Not JUST a Real-TIme-Strategy
So, for what its worth. It has bit and parts of both, and that's exactly what I set out to do!
SO what IS going on? Well, I can safely say that this game has at least 1 more hotfix/update planned in the pipeline. And I have a very high tendency to go back to other games to add whatever's fresh! So I definitely don't think anything's off the table here!
I do have a massive backlog of ideas that I am fired up about so rest assured I'll constantly and always be making stuff, if you ever wonder if there's more to come
I am already on and working on a new project! So updates and whatnot in relation here will definitely slow down for a bit. I REALLY think everyone is gonna think this next one is so very... cool SO if you want to join me for whatever Blockage has going on, please join us on the Discord! I'll be making games for as long as I can live. So the best way to support this game and more to come is simply be involved :)
Also shoutout to ArrayNone for vectorizing the TDS font that adorns these various news announcements on here! In case I never said that!
Anyways that's my ramble. I just feel grateful, thanks again :D
