Hello everyone!
It has been more than 70 days since the release of Firefighter Connor. During this time, we appreciate your support for "Firefighter Connor"!
We are very grateful for your love for "Firefighter Connor", and at the same time, we have also received some questions and feedback from you about "Firefighter Connor".
As this is my first creative work, the current content is still not perfect.
We have adopted some players' feedback on the game content and plan to modify and expand the existing storyline.
At the same time, many friends are looking forward to more new stories about "Firefighter Connor".
We expect to release a new extra chapter in September of this year (this time is expected, and since it is a personal project, the actual time may be earlier or later)
and launch the current content that has been expanded and modified.
The above content will be updated for free through Steam updates.
FAQ:
Q1: Will there be changes to the original storyline in the future?
- The expanded and modified content will be modified and expanded with details and new content while retaining the original storyline.
Q2: I feel that there is less text and the gameplay time is short. Will you expand the main storyline?
- Yes, for this expansion, our goal is to increase the text volume by double compared to the current script.
Q3: Will subsequent updates add interactive elements?
- This extra chapter and storyline expansion will not add interactive elements (clickable options, branching storylines, etc.)
Q4: Have you considered adding more scene descriptions and multi-perspective switching descriptions?
- This expansion plan will expand on some details based on the direction of the existing storyline.
Q5: Can you consider adding more character expressions in the game? Sometimes I feel that they don't match the characters' psychological dynamics.
- This problem occurs because during the production process, the Q-version expressions were made first, and then the illustration CGs were added. However, the most important purpose of expressions is
to be able to identify who is currently speaking at a glance.
In this script expansion and extra update, we will update some new small expressions based on the script content.
Q6: Do you have any plans for peripherals? And will you enable the "ifadian / Pateron" (crowdfunding) feature?
- The first batch of "Firefighter Connor" peripheral products will be sold offline first at the furry conventions in Chengdu and Shanghai, mainland China. After the offline sales, they may be sold online through e-commerce (including non-mainland China regions).
Q7: Does the game have any plans to release versions in other languages? Are there any plans to release an adult version?
- Currently, localized versions in Simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese have been released. We will release versions in other languages according to players' needs.
The entire work still uses R16 as the standard, and there are no plans to release an adult version.
Q8: Will there be other sequels in the future?
- In the recent plan, there is only the expansion and extra chapter for the current work. It does not include the production plan for a sequel at the moment. But you can look forward to it. Who knows, maybe there will be one (?)
Q9: When will the update be released, and why has there been no new announcement until more than 70 days after the release?
- The expected time for this update is September 2024, which is the same batch of update content as described in the game's easter egg originally scheduled for July and August (the reason for the delay is that the plan to add expanded storylines was added compared to the expectation).
Since the main production, operation, peripheral production, and convention planning of this work are all independently followed up by me alone, and there were personal matters such as cross-city moving during the period, this announcement was made so late, and I express my sincere apologies for that.
