It's nearly Thanksgiving for many and even if you're not celebrating (in my case my family is still in Japan until immigration gives the go ahead) we still have the Steam Autumn Sale to enjoy! There are a number of great titles especially Indies on sale so don't miss out!
We have more to celebrate as we're much closer to the release of our first FREE DLC Bundle having hired more talent to speed up development (we've been stubborn about releasing quality updates and making sure our DLC is well worth the wait) of the 4 new Characters, 4 new Weapons, 2 New Maps, and our New Game-Mode Flatline with Union Station being the first of many Flatline maps. In addition to the DLC we are working on some very important features to improve the overall experience of Contagion all of which we're hoping to release before the end of the year! - Lobby System - No more struggling to host a game with friends. Create and edit a lobby for you and your friends to experience Contagion how you prefer to play
- Improved Animation System - Utilizing our new mocap animations fully to bring a more immersive experience to your games
- Ranking & Unlockables - As you play our Co-op on Official Servers you will be able to obtain rewards to customize weapons and rank up
- Improved Shader System to take advantage of shaders not yet included as well as optimize our existing setup so lower end systems can enjoy some of the shaders they were unable to till now
With another Free DLC Bundle designed and ready to be worked on we will see more Escape, Extraction, Flatline maps as well as numerous bug fixes and optimization. There are also plans to update Contagion's Engine to support Mac & Linux builds as promised. Also worth noting that we're working on a big reveal for GDC 2015 for those attending or keeping tabs on GDC and/or Contagion!
