The Scramble Knights Royale playtest is live NOW for North American players! Be sure you requested access and then check your email for a Steam email that should grant you access. This will show up as "Scramble Knights Royale [playtest]" in your Steam library. If you have gained access, you'll also have two invites so you can share the game with your friends!
This test will run from now until January 11th at midnight PST time. Only Solo Queue will be available for this test.
Be sure to join our Discord as well to chat about the game, talk to the developers (that's us), and get exclusive updates about Scramble Knights!
You can earn exclusive pre-launch cosmetic rewards for playing during the playtest. Don't worry, if you aren't in NA or can't play during this time we'll have more chances to earn these rewards before launch for all players.
This test is an early look at gameplay. We are still working on our networking and matchmaking, so expect some issues to occur while testing. This playtest will help us identify issues so we can have a smooth launch!
Here's a few things to look out for:
If your game crashes, please press the "BUG REPORT" button or let us know about the crash here on Steam or join our Discord and report it there.
You can re-queue while your a chicken after death by pressing Y on controller or R on keyboard.
If you disconnect unexpectedly from a match, please click the "Got a bug?" button on the bottom of your screen and let us know what happened.
If you fall out of the world or get stuck while in a match, you can use the "Unstuck Me" option in the start menu.
If you run into any other general bugs (doors not opening, can't pick up items, can't attack, etc.) please use the "Got a bug?" button on the bottom of the screen and let us know what's happening.
If the game gives a "Device Not Found" error, you need to run the game in admin mode. To run in Admin mode via Steam: Right click the game in Steam -> Manage -> Browse Local Files -> Right Click ZR.exe and click "Run as Administrator".
Dungeons may not spawn objects and enemies correctly, we are working on a fix for this!
If you have the time, you can also give us your feedback! Use the "Feedback" button in-game to be taken to a form where you can let us know how you felt about the game or just click here to fill the form out once you've played. We're making Scramble Knights Royale for you, so we listen to all player feedback seriously and nothing is ever ignored.
Let us know any questions in comments, and we'll see you in game!
