Synopsis
You play as Yohanne who wields the light and who is on a mission to defeat Dark Incarnate. Crusade through Grandura, fight corrupted armies and reach the Unholy Sanctum where the evil foe resides.
Gameplay
You are an active unit in the battlefield, you can move, use abilities and items, place units, withdraw units and observe the state of the map all while the stopping the enemy. Maps get harder and more hectic as you progress, requiring more focus, speed and precision.
The Overworld
Unlock maps as you go and choose your path to the Unholy Sanctum. If you wish, you can always go back to maps you haven't cleared yet and take a different route to discover more stuff.
Progression
When you clear a map you get experience and gold, If clearing for the first time, you get to choose an item and unit reward and unlock connecting maps if there are any.
Outposts
Outposts are locations that will help you in your crusade. Each outpost is unique, providing different items and creatures to sell and units to recruit.
Light Shards
Light shards lets you choose an ability when clearing a map that has it. These abilities are only available when you are in your divine form which you can call upon with the Divine Form ability which is always at your disposal.
You start with two unique divine abilities and get to choose from the ones below when finding a light shard.
Unit Management
There is leveling and experience is gained when clearing maps. Units also level up and you get to choose which ability or stat to upgrade. You can also give them items and choose who to prioritize when using their abilities/items. Maps have different maximum active units allowed but you can always withdraw/place a unit anytime.
In addition to most units from other game modes, there are new units with new abilities added for the tower defense.
I also did many improvements in other parts of the game as well but they weren't really relevant for this post.
Since all the game modes are availabe now, it's time to wrap this game up. In the coming days, I'll be doing story stuff, lore and art work and make improvements here and there and hopefully transition to a full release.
Thank you very much and have a nice day! Please report bugs if you have the time!
