🖥️ Game dev sim meets RPG builder ⚔️
Happy Next Fest! 🎊
The brand new Let's Build a Dungeon demo is live right now as part of Steam Next Fest, and we can't wait for you to try it out. You can jump straight into building your RPG world using the 'Install Demo' button below - and don't forget to add us to your wishlist and follow our Steam page for the latest updates.
🏘️ What's in the demo? 🕹️
Our Steam Next Fest Demo includes three game modes and Twitch integration:
Campaign Mode - An in-depth game development simulation that combines studio management, RPG creation and hands-on playtesting. Play as CEO and Game Designer in an attempt to manage a successful MMORPG beta test for your virtual players.
Just Build Mode - A streamlined, low-pressure world-building experience powered by a relaxing deck-building system. Choose quest cards, asset packs and marketing boosts to help your RPG grow into the next big hit.
Creative Mode - An open sandbox packed with accessible game-making tools that gives you full creative control. Write your own stories, craft quests, draw character sprites and fine-tune gameplay mechanics to create the perfect RPG. When you've finished, jump in and play the game you made.
Twitch Integration - Invite chat into your game as virtual players and let them vote on key studio decisions, or host a Twitch War and have them battle it out for victory. Full details on our website!
Please consider leaving a review on our demo page, as each one really helps! We also have a feedback form linked in game and all feedback will help us to keep making Let's Build a Dungeon the best it can be.
If you encounter any issues, please share in this bug reporting thread and we'll be monitoring the posts throughout Next Fest.
We'd love to see what you make in the demo, from dungeon and overworld builds to custom character sprites. You can share them with us over on Discord in the 'show-us-your-rpg' channel and we're already looking forward to seeing what you create.
Thanks for your support and we hope you enjoy the demo!
