It's every Strayer's Birthday!
This might not be your usual update devlog - but a celebration nonetheless. Exactly one year ago, the islands opened its beaches for Early Access!
For our Anniversary Bash, we're dropping a special anniversary bolt-action rifle skin for every deserving Strayer - for FREE! Also, we're introducing a very familiar face-turned-Rock skin that'll surely make some "heads roll". And last but definitely not the least - a special, one-of-a-kind skin you can only receive if you're a base-building champion - which brings us to our very special event that'll test your Strayed engineering knowledge to the core!
...and we're just getting started. Let's go through our celebration agenda, shall we?
Dinkleberg Rock Skin - Heads will roll!
Happy 1st Birthday, Strayed and Strayers!
So, some of you might be thinking - who or what exactly is this "Dinkleberg" character? Good question.
We'd love to answer this, but honestly, we believe the community deserves to have its own story about who they might think Dinkleberg is. Remember the stories we used to tell about Dinkleberg's adventure on Discord? That was an adventure written by another community member - just like all the Strayed stories written over the past year of Early Access.
So - a short answer - no, we can't really say who Dinkleberg is. For now - let's leave him as a Rock skin.
The refined features of the Dinkleberg Rock Skin will surely leave a mark on your enemy's head, beside Dinkleberg's, of course. Check out our storefront to get yourself the companion you deserve!

Foundation Day - The Strayed Base-Building Contest!
Ooh, a contest - and not just another Discord event - it's a base-building contest where you can win an event-exclusive skin!
The base-building contest will have 3 categories - Defense, Beauty, and Compact. To participate, you must provide a clip of your base on Discord, just like you would for our regular Clip of the Week events, but with a different command. The community will then vote for their favorites per category.
This will all happen during the event duration. The user with the highest-voted submission for each category will receive an event-exclusive skin, plus their own Dinkleberg Rock Skin to top it off!
The event runs from Friday, April 18th, 2025 @ 6:00 PM EST to Monday, April 28th, 2025 @ 6:00PM EST.
For more information about participating, voting, and the prizes, visit our Special Event channel on Discord!
Exclusive, Foundation Day Bolt-Action Shotgun Skin!
So what makes the base-building event worth it, you ask? Exclusivity. As the grand prize for all winners of our base-building contest, this shiny, glowing Bolt-Action Shotgun skin is exclusive to this event, which means this will be the only chance to get it.
Once you receive this skin, you will be one of only three Strayers to have it - a mark of base-building prowess decided by the Strayed community.
Above all, we wouldn't be greeting everyone a Happy Birthday without giving away something for free as a gift...
Free, Anniversary Bolt-Action Rifle Skin for ALL!
Every Strayer out there contributed to our success over the past year of Early Access. As a token of commemoration and appreciation - this Bolt-Action Rifle skin is yours for FREE!
This skin is especially designed to represent the community's unified persona. Bring this skin with you during hunting runs to emphasize your role in Strayed's celebration of its first, Early Access year!
The Strayed Experience - The 5th is almost there!
Our next milestone is at 1,300 - combining both Steam and Meta Quest storefront reviews. As of writing, we're sitting at 1,293 reviews, so we need only 7 more!
Just a little bit more, Strayers - and we'll have ourselves a record-breaking 3 FREE skins released in 1 month. Talk about a custom milestone!
