The first proper update for Doomsday Jetlag is here! Let's see what's new:
NEW MAPS
The Philippines has been added as a new 'Hard' map. With 6 cities & regions to protect, soar around the archipelago downing oncoming devils!
Newfoundland has been added as a new 'Easy' map. With 2 cities & regions to protect, you'll be doing a fair bit of aerial combat in the North Atlantic building up your arsenal early-on.
ACHIEVEMENTS
In this version, you'll find 9 new achievements to unlock!
- 2 for victories in the 2 new maps
- 4 for building up a collection of cards
- 3 for surviving lengths of time in combat
TWEAKS
Responding to community feedback, the following tweaks and changes have been made to the game:
- Bloom effect has been slightly reduced, particularly in menus
- The percentage of reward money you earn while Multi-Directional-Turret controls are active has been upped to 75% (Previously 50%).
- Speed controls can now be changed in the settings to the W/S keys instead of the scroll wheel.
That's all for now, but what's planned for the future?
FUTURE
In the next update (releasing within the next 2-3 weeks) the planned additions are:
- Player stats accessible in the menu
- Map stats associated with above
- New abilities!
- Controller functionality
- Localisations
- Any bugfixes or tweaks as detected by me or reported/suggested by you!
Beyond that, I have one major update planned, which I'm excited to get working on and report to you about in the next update release announcement!
Thanks for the support and thanks for reading!
