One of the questions we've been receiving is:
New cars? Any chance there are going to be new cars or new ways to change up how the cars look?
Well, buckle up, because we're about to delve into the fantastic world of RC car customization and new additions!
Two Leagues, Two Experiences
Our game features two leagues that cater to different types of players.
Amateur League: For those who just want to hop in and race without any fuss. This league features non-disassemblable cars in boxes, using arcade physics. It's all about straightforward fun and speed. The current demo on Steam offers a taste of the Amateur League, and we're working on adding the ability to change the cars' paint jobs.
Professional League: This is where things get really interesting. The cars in this league consist of separate modules, built upon one of four main bases. The customization possibilities here are almost endless!

Details Make the Difference
We're making an exciting, arcade-style racing game, but we want it to have depth, too. We're looking at real RC cars and understanding how they work, right down to the smallest gear. This allows us to create an immersive experience that RC fans will find intriguing and satisfying.

Of course, we're not trying to make a hyper-realistic simulator—that's not our goal. We want to keep the game fun and diverse, which means accepting certain game conventions and balancing realism with playability.
A Deeper Look at the Pro League Customization
In the Pro League, customization is king. We're considering how different parts will fit together, allowing players to truly create the car of their dreams.

For instance, look at this RC type BUGGY base. When we tried fitting a battery model, we realized that only the simplest and cheapest battery fits into this variant. This means we need to modify the layout of parts or the shape of the base itself.

Experimentation is part of the process. We're constantly trying out new external cases and models, always aiming for diversity.
Customization UI and More
Finally, take a look at our UI prototype for customization. Soon, you'll have the chance to try changing skins for the cars in our demo, taking personalization to a whole new level.

This is just a brief overview in response to your questions from the Steam community. We're always eager to share more about our development process and future plans, so don't hesitate to ask more questions. We'll do our best to answer them as fully as possible.
Stay tuned for more updates and keep those engines revving!
