We have a big update for you this week, so get comfy and see what's incoming!
New Additions:
First, happy holidays! We're so happy to have you as part of our community. All of the good Orbs get a new Christmas Candy Skin!
You can find this in your skins menu on the pause menu.
Next up is Dr. Corvid's Lab!
We've been teasing our challenge sandbox mode for a while now, and it's finally here!
Players can unlock this new mode through the world menu either with your mouse or gamepad.
Players will start with 6 challenges to beat. They range in intensity and difficulty from ludicrous to plaid. Good luck, and beware, the bees!
- Enter The Inferno! (Wave Survival Challenge, 3 Waves) Fight fire with fire! Face off against various flame-based Virball combinations with only the Fire Virball Core at your disposal.
- Survival of the Squishiest (Wave Survival Challenge, 3 Waves) Prove that you are worthy of the Water Core by facing off against each Virball combination that has Water as a secondary element.
- Quarantine (Exterminate Challenge, Clear 100 in 100 seconds) You have 100 seconds to kill 100 Virballs, which will spawn continuously from all sides. Did your time at Janitor school prepare you for this?
- Plumbing Duty (Wave Survival Challenge, 4 Waves) Some of the pipes in the Lab are seriously blocked up with excess Virium. Each pipe will start out as a trickle, but watch out! The source of each clog is a massive Virball!
- Cage Match (Exterminate Challenge, Clear 20 in 60 seconds) Stuck in close quarters and with only a drip feed of ammo, you only have one minute left on the clock to defeat your enormous opponent.
- Gas Leak (Exterminate Challenge, Clear 50 in 60 seconds) Be quick about tracking down these tricky stray Air Virballs, or you won't meet your quota!
Have fun beating those challenges!
You'll also be able to play in the Sandbox where all cores and virballs are unlocked until full release.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed defect of Collection Badge Obtained - should be more accurate
- The Map View now shows the total amount of atoms you’re able to collect and the current amount you are at
That's all for now. We'll see you next year, with some exciting new updates and the full release!
