Update 10.00.0 is a big one! We’re introducing Relics, a transforming Clan Boss called the Chimera, Champion rebalances, and more. Keep your eyes peeled as tomorrow, you’ll find out more about this new Clan Boss when it is released to the world.
Relics
Relics are a new type of Champion Equipment, different from other Gear such as Artifacts and Accessories. Relics are located in a different tab of your Champion Collection.
Only one Relic can be equipped to a Champion at a time and it provides stat boosts, as well as a unique Ability to the wearer. All Relics are unique and have fixed stats.
Relics can be crafted on the new tab in the Forge using Ocular Masses, received by fighting the Chimera.
A Relic’s Level can be upgraded by spending a new resource, Starstones. A Relic’s Rank can also be increased by sacrificing other Relics or using another new resource, Basalt. By upgrading a Relic’s' Level and Rank, its stats are increased, new substats are unlocked, and its Ability improves.
Relics have 1-4 Sockets, depending on their Rarity, which can be filled with Gemstones that provide additional passive Abilities. Starstones, Basalt, and Gemstones will all be obtainable from defeating the Chimera.
