Level Mechanism

1. Level Classification

There are three types of levels in Neon City: main line, side line, and hidden.

Main Line

• Consumes 300 stamina each time.
• Allows 10 challenges per week.
• Team formation is possible.
• Rewards: Mutant Crystals, Training Manuals, Synchronization Crystals Lv1 (average reward quality).

Side Line

• Unlocks after completing the corresponding main quest.
• Consumes 600 stamina per attempt.
• Allows 10 challenges per round.
• Team formation is possible.
• Rewards: Higher quality rewards compared to Main Line. Includes Expert Coins, Synchronization Crystals Lv2, Gold Coins, Hero Gems.

Hidden Level

• Special single-player level triggered after winning and successfully escaping a normal level.
• Can be challenged once a day. The number resets the next day.
• Consumes 1000 stamina per attempt.
• Rewards: Rich rewards including Gold or New Legendary Gems.

To be honest, the main quest takes a long time, the rewards are average, and the cost-effectiveness is very low. Although the side quest rewards are qualification gems, the drop rate is not high. Therefore, unless you want to obtain the gun spirit training props, it is not worth clearing the level. As for the hidden level, it is triggered by chance. I played for 5 hours on Friday without getting any, but on Saturday I played 1 twice and 2 once and it was triggered. The rewards for the hidden level are still very generous. Basically, you can get a gold box for every elite monster you kill. But I don't recommend playing it deliberately.

2. Level challenge time:

The challenge time for all levels is 30 minutes. After entering the battle, an evacuation point will be randomly refreshed in the level every 5 minutes. The evacuation point exists for 30-60 seconds (for example, it appears at 26:00 and disappears at 25:00). Standing on the evacuation point, you can leave the battle with the props you have obtained, and the challenge will be displayed as successful.

The advantage of the evacuation point mechanism is that even if you cannot defeat the boss, you can still exit the settlement with the rewards you picked up from killing monsters in the early stage. At the same time, the evacuation point settlement is the first layer of anti-AFK means. Even if you can fight while AFK, if you don't go to the evacuation point, you can't successfully settle.

3. Team building for main and side quests:

4. Survival Energy System

After entering the battle, the survival energy is displayed in the lower left corner of the interface. It is initially full energy, and it slowly decreases over time from the time you enter the battle, decreasing by 1 bar per minute. If you die in the battle, the survival energy is directly reduced by half. When the survival energy is zero, the level challenge fails.
After killing a monster, a treasure chest will drop. Picking up the treasure chest will restore survival energy. Note that only treasure chests dropped by monsters you killed can be picked up.
Treasure chests are divided into gold/purple/blue and other colors. The value of the reward items contained in different colors is different, with blue being the lowest.

The initial survival energy is 10 grids. Even if you don't kill a monster, as long as you don't die, you can survive until the second evacuation point appears. Therefore, you can let the trumpet carry special damage weapons, and under the protection of the big trumpet, use them specifically to break the shield. Of course, remember the room number and enter halfway. Picking up boxes can not only get rewards, but also increase survival energy, but you cannot pick up boxes from monsters that you have not killed. If you don't pick up boxes, you will not get rewards, and the challenge will fail. This is also a mechanism to prevent AFK.

2. Monster Mechanics

Neon City has a new monster system.

1. Ordinary monsters

There are 9527, 8820, and Hyena. These three monsters are numerous, have low damage, and have no special skills.

2. Elite monsters

There are ghosts, meat mountains, and terraformers. These three monsters have their own unique skills. It is important to note that if you do not carry weapons with special damage types, you cannot kill elite monsters.

Ghost: Can be invisible, and the player cannot see it at all. Ghost also has a one-hit attack to break invisibility, and the first attack after the invisibility is removed has high damage. At the same time, Ghost has a skill that makes it completely immune to damage. Once released, it will be immune to all damage except for special types of damage.

Meat Mountain: A defensive monster that will grow in size over time and increase its base health by 100% (up to 3 times)

Transformer: When born and every once in a while after birth, add a layer of damage reduction BUFF to nearby monsters (except Transformers and BOSS) (up to 3 layers of BUFF on monsters). When there are 3 layers, only 1 point of damage will be taken each time. The BUFF of multiple Transformers can be stacked. When all Transformers on the field die, the BUFF will be cleared. Therefore, when Transformers appear on the field, they should be killed first!

No matter what your main weapon is, you must carry a weapon with a special damage type, such as plasma or severance. If you don't have a special damage weapon, you will be helpless against elite monsters. This is the third level of anti-hang-up means. When the monster is just refreshed, you can kill it instantly, which can save a lot of time. However, once the monster releases a skill, it will be more troublesome.

3. Boss

Neon City has an endless level mechanism, that is, after killing the boss, the challenge will not be displayed as successful, but the second boss will be refreshed after a period of time. Of course, the refreshed boss is also of the same type.
All bosses have three health bars, with an elemental shield and a flesh shield in the middle of the two health bars, which can only be broken with weapons with plasma damage and severing damage. Similar to the green snake in the Three Fights with the White Bone Demon dungeon.

① City 1-Titan

Titan will receive an additional layer of damage reduction every time it receives a certain number of damages, up to a maximum of 3 layers. At 3 layers, it will only receive a fixed damage of 99999900

If the BOSS hits a stone pillar when charging, it will be dizzy and the number of damage reduction layers will be reduced

The key to killing the Titan is to stand near the stone pillars when attacking the Titan, so that the Titan will automatically crash into the stone pillars when attacking you, thus offsetting the shield.

② The Walled City 2-Mad Science

The Mad Scientist will release the Thunderball skill, which will slowly drop a thunderball at the player's location. If hit, the player will be dizzy.
When the thunder ball falls to the ground , it forms a thunder prison swamp, and any player who comes into contact with it will continue to suffer damage

Every once in a while, the Mad Scientist will lock onto a player and release "Mark Target". After a long period of accumulation, it will cause a fatal blow.

The damage of the madman's thunder ball is very high, about 300,000-400,000, and there is also a stun effect. The subsequent continuous damage is also more than 100,000, so try not to stay in one place for too long when fighting a madman.

③The Walled City 3-Hackers

Every time you cast a skill, a gem will appear and the player can pick it up.
Players can only cause damage to the BOSS if they carry gems of the same color as the BOSS's shield.
The boss's barrage will not cause damage to players carrying gems with the barrage color.
That is: the same color cannot cause damage, nor can it be damaged by walls

Every once in a while, the boss will charge up, and then cause different damage effects based on the difference in the number of the two gems on the player.
Every once in a while the BOSS will enter an invincible state and then clear the gems on the field. Each white gem will restore health, and each purple gem will cause damage to the player.

This girl holding an umbrella is quite annoying, mainly because the colors on her body change too quickly, and the gems on the ground are scattered so densely that sometimes you can't eat what you want, and you accidentally get what you don't want. So, instead of caring about the color, it's better to eat it all and kill it directly.

3. Brief Analysis of the Blade and Soul System

The most eye-catching update in the new chapter is the addition of the Gun Spirit system, and the most tempting announcement is this sentence: " Gun Spirits may be added to other adventure mode battles in the future, so stay tuned! "
Simply put, a gun spirit is a summoned creature that can assist you in fighting in a dungeon!

1. How to obtain the gun spirit

Gun spirits can be directly extracted through summoning stones, or synthesized through fragments.
To obtain it through the summoning stone, you need to enter the Neon City interface and click the summon below to enter.

If you draw 80 times, you will definitely get an orange-level gun spirit, and if you draw 160 times, you will definitely get a colored-level gun spirit.

Summoning stones can be purchased through the event interface, or dropped in the Neon City dungeon (with a lower chance of dropping)

In other words, if you spend 16,000 gold coins, you will definitely get the colorful "Starship" gun spirit. According to the past practice of "Shark", this kind of thing is purchased at a discount when it is first released, and double the purchase price after the event. Therefore, it is recommended that players with strength get the Starship directly.

2. Attributes of Gun Spirit

Currently, gun spirits are divided into four categories: color, orange, purple, and blue. The color attribute is the best, but currently only one character, Starship, is open.
Click on the obtained Gun Spirit in the Gun Spirit interface to see detailed attribute descriptions.

Below the level is the basic attribute of the current gun spirit, which will increase as the gun spirit is upgraded.
After clicking on the proficient weapon, you can view the main weapon type that the gun spirit is proficient in. Only by giving the gun spirit the firearm it is proficient in can it deal maximum damage.
The circle on the upper right is the holy object that the gun spirit can carry.
Combat skills are skills that the gun spirit can release in addition to normal attacks. Skill damage all has special damage types.

In addition, it should be noted that only starships can carry two sets of weapons, while other gun spirits can only carry one set.

3. The role of the gun spirit

After clicking on the Gun Spirit to go into battle, the Gun Spirit will follow the player into the battle of Neon City and release its own skills to kill monsters.

The main weapon carried by the gun spirit will float beside the gun spirit.
The damage of the gun spirit is closely related to the weapons equipped by the player. The better the weapons and the higher the level of training, the higher the damage of the gun spirit.

Some players may ask: If the Gun Spirit is equipped with a weapon with a damage type, can the Gun Spirit's damage break the boss's shield?

After testing, it cannot! I equipped the Gun Spirit with the Final Rage of Severing attribute, but it cannot break the meat shield.

But! The gun spirit's own skill attribute can break the shield!.

That is to say, when you carry a weapon with plasma attributes, such as Fu Hu, you can use a gun spirit with tearing attributes to break the meat shield.

4. Sacred Objects

Each gun spirit corresponds to a holy relic. When the gun spirit is upgraded to level 3, the holy relic will be automatically opened without the need to obtain it specifically.
Holy relics can also be strengthened, and strengthening holy relics can increase a large amount of blood shield.

IV. Summary of the Mechanism

• The overall difficulty of the new chapter is relatively high. You cannot pass the level by just meeting the damage requirement. You also need the support of survival attributes.
• Weaker players can skip the boss fight and leave through the evacuation point after clearing the first wave of monsters. They can obtain: - Mutation Crystals - Training Books - Synchronization Crystals - Precious gems like Gold and Legend - Rare items such as Expert Coins, Summoning Stones, and Breakthrough Materials.
• Rewards: - Side quest rewards are better than main quests. - Hidden level rewards are better than side quests. - Hidden levels are triggered by probability, and the main quest offers a higher chance of triggering them.
• Preparation is key: Although the chapter is not cost-effective currently, many items can only be obtained through this method. Capable players should act early and stockpile resources.
• Elite monsters: - Each wave includes elite monsters like Meat Mountain, Ghost, and Transformer. - These monsters require special damage weapons (Plasma, Rupture) to defeat. - Tip: Kill Transformers first as they buff other monsters with damage immunity.
• Boss mechanics: - All bosses have two special shields: one for Plasma damage and one for Rupture damage. - Weapon Recommendations: - Main: Immortal Star Core (Rupture), Doomsday Crossbow (Rupture) - Secondary: Fu Hu (Plasma), Han Tian (Rip), Huan Cai (Plasma)
• Sword Spirits: - Auxiliary combat units that can be upgraded and equipped with weapons. - They can have their life shields increased through relics. - Key details: - Sword Spirits attack independently of their carried weapons. - They can break boss shields with their special type of damage. - Low-level Sword Spirits require further training to deal significant damage.
• Best Sword Spirits: - Starship: Can be obtained for a guaranteed 16,000 gold coins. - Titan (Rupture) and Madman (Plasma): Can be obtained for around 8,000 gold coins. - Recommendation: Players with resources should get Starship during the event. Sword Spirits will likely be useful in more gameplay modes in the future.

Tip: Carrying an upgraded Sword Spirit could feel like having an automatic attack companion. Imagine the fun of 2 vs 1 battles!
