Progress Update!
Hello Blacksmiths!
Thankyou for your wishlists, it's been so damn encouraging!
It's been very quiet around the forge of late, mostly due to some now resolved medical issues, but now for UPDATES!
Firstly, the legion has deployed, and can be seen wandering about the camp, accepting weapons at the banner office and selling supplies from the Quartermaster.

Secondly, the cutler is open for business, selling guards, hafts, pommels, and grips. The materials you can choose from can be updated as you discover them, either in the field or in the mine. You can cast your own accessories if you're on a budget, but the weapons will always look better from here.

I've added the day/night cycle and built out the tavern, where you'll be able to pester legionnaires and mercenaries alike for tips and tricks, and learn what your customers want.

The actual game is now working smoothly, with the legion progressing through the map based on the quality of weapons you've provided. Locations for mercenaries get discovered in a similar way, and these missions are what you'll be matching customers to weapons for!

The mine is now completely built out. More levels may be added later on, depending on demand. It'd be great to have some dwarven halls to explore if you can survive exploring that deep, but for now, a full and varied mine with many a greebly to test you weapons on.

And of course all the little subsystems that make games playable. Graphics and sound settings, save and load, all up and running smoothly!

Moving forward I need to:
- Refine the mercenary/customer NPCs, and ensure their armour and appearance is up to scratch,
- Finish off the remaining enemy types, including a boss fight,
- and test the grinding, engraving, and crystal stations for any remaining bugs.
Stay tuned for more updates, they should come more frequently now!
