Welcome to the Dina's Critter Card Academy!
Today I'd like to introduce you to some of the Critters that'll you'll be collecting in the Critter Card TCG. There'll also be some discussion about the Critter's abilities and how you can use them in battles.
First up is Alertle
These small critters live in packs inside of dark caves. They communicate through their bioluminescent shells. It's said they have up to 50 different signals.
As a Terra type Critter, Alertle's have a good defence of 5. Everytime they are attacked, the damage taken is reduced by 5. Wow! Alertle's sure are great at staying in a Critter Battle.
Next up we have Ursignal
A young bear that's a bit wobbly on its feet due to constantly receving radio waves through its ears. However it can control small household appliances.
On the other hand, Ursignal is more focused on attacking. A Critter's attack value is made up of it's Power and Attacks per Turn. Ursiginal will do 2 damage, 4 times on its turn! Attacking many times can be useful but with a lower Power value, high defence Critters can totally shut them down.
Taking it a step further is Tweesk
A chick that lashes out with it's whisk shaped vine tail. All 3 vines attack at once for a triple slap.
Some Critters will come with abilities that will activate on a variety of conditions. Tweesk will heal 2HP when it attacks. Since it attacks twice per turn, it'll recover 4HP. If only Tweesk could attack even more times, it'd be invincible!
Lastly lets look at Baaroola
Kept on farms for the purity of the water that surrounds them. It's easy to tell when one is sick as it has less water surrounding it. The water makes a good cushion in battle.
Baaroola is another defensive focused Critter however its ability will benefit its teammate! Everytime Baaroola is attacked, its ally will recover health, no matter how much damage it takes. Perhaps you can plan a strategy around Baaroola's ability?
That's all for this edition of Dina's Critter Card Academy. Tune in for the next one by wishlisting Isle of Swaps.
See you next time!
