Hello everyone!
This is the FromDawn Games team🔆
Welcome to the latest developer’s log for Aeruta!
What does April mean? 🌸
Rising temperatures, allergy season... and also our studio’s birthday month! 🍞🎉
This year, we kept developing as usual—and also kept exploding (figuratively… or maybe literally?).
We’ve poured all that joy, chaos, and caffeine into this devlog!
In this issue: nonstop explosive adventures (literally), perilous ruins to explore, a new culinary breakthrough from Effie,
and—Chaya’s life-changing moment!? 😲⁉️
Don’t miss it—let’s dive in!
Boom Boom Boom! A New Adventure on new Island is in the Works… 💥
Suddenly—BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Explosions echo through the ruins. Walls crumble, dust flies, and somewhere in the chaos—Chaya’s scream!? Did Chaya accidentally blow something up again!? 🤯 That’s right—we’ve begun designing the third island’s stages! With a step-up in difficulty, tougher enemies, more thrilling challenges, and huge, explosive scenes, get your rolling pin ready—it’s time for an explosive adventure!
Full of Traps and Perils—Can Chaya Make It Out Alive?
Every step Chaya takes could trigger danger… ⚠️🚨 Stay sharp and move precisely. Observe the remnants left by those who came before—you might just find a safe path. Overcome each trap, conserve your strength, and prepare to face the mastermind lurking in the shadows!
New Ingredients, New Recipes—Fresh Bread from Effie’s Kitchen! ✨
The moment Effie laid eyes on the mysterious ingredients Chaya brought back from the ruins, inspiration struck! Fizzy sausage pie soaked in OOOO, salad buns made with XXXX, and cube cakes that taste like △△△△— Chaya had no idea what any of it meant, but looking at the disaster in the kitchen, she knew… she’d be sweeping the floor for a long time again today 🦊💦
Main Story Progresses—Is Chaya’s Intern Hero Journey Coming to an End!?
Who stole the Aeruta crystal? And for what reason? Where did this conspiracy begin—and will Chaya finally become a full-fledged hero…? ⚔️ Mysteries deepen, choices grow heavier—and yes, emotions heat up too! The main story, side quests, and affection events are now fully written— Chaya’s path as a hero is yours to uncover! 🎮👀
April marks the founding of our studio—that’s right, we’re two years old now! 🎂🥳
On April 17, 2023, we started from a tiny studio, driven by the simple belief of making games we ourselves would love to play.
We stumbled a lot along the way—but we kept moving forward.
Two years later, we’re still going strong—coding, fixing bugs, designing levels, drawing more art…
The only interruption? Watching a 15-minute preview of Mario Kart World together—
and ending the day sulking about not landing a SWITCH 2 preorder.
🎈 But what started as an ordinary day turned magical thanks to your birthday wishes! 🎉
Every message, reply, share, and review on Steam—we read them all, and they truly mean the world to us.
It’s amazing to see this space grow into a cozy home for passionate devs like us—and for players like you 💕
By the way—that mysterious new system on the roadmap?
Development has already begun!
It’s a little surprise we can’t reveal just yet… but we hope you’ll get to see it soon ✨
That wraps up our seventh devlog.
See you next time!
